LOST

We're going to see Dirty Projectors on Halloween in Echo Park... We're not dressing up. I was going to be a Canada Goose and Derek was supposed to be a Bald Eagle but we decided to postpone those plans until next year so I can save up to buy all those feathers.

Kermy

This is Kermy. He lives in the office plant by my desk. I put him there. I found him on my lunch bag when I got to work in the morning. I think he was a stowaway from the fridge at home. I believe he originally came from the Farmer's Market.
He was living peacefully in the plant until one of my coworkers accidentally knocked it off the shelf. I found Kermy crawling on the ground and put him back in the plant where he belongs. Now all my coworkers know about Kermy.
He's kind of hard to see. He's right in the middle of the picture.

Another day in the hood...

Yesterday was Canada Thanksgiving. We made mashed potatoes and green beans and roasted carrots and brussel sprouts and butternut squash soup and Derek made a turkey breast and we had pumpkin pie for dessert. 2 Thanksgivings are better than 1.

More ACL

My wrist band was too tight. And that's one of the dresses I made. You like?

Derek, me and Teresa waiting for the band to start.

Muddy feet on the last day of the Fest. Thanks for the photos George!

ACL (mud) FEST 2009

We spent the weekend in Austin, Texas at the City Limits Music Festival. 3 days of people and music and rain and beer and mosquitoes and tacos and a hot dog flag turned Zilker Park into a giant mud puddle. And it was totally worth it. I can't wait for our next family vacation!!! Thanks ma!
Here are some photos I swiped off of Flickr.

Is that David Grohl?
