GOVBALLNYC

We had a great time this weekend in NYCity for the Governors Ball music fest and celebrating Jean's birthday!  Partied in the sun (and in Washington Square Fountain), listened to music, drank some beer and ate several asia dogs and veggie tacos. I've got a pretty solid shorts tan.

I am an introvert, an excavator

Apparently, Tech N9ne Killer was playing at a venue downtown last night.  He's so bad ass - check out that airbrushed straitjacket.

We saw Santigold last night!  She is super awesome.  I love seeing her live!  Good thing we get to see her again on Saturday in NYC <3

ps. When I grow up I want to be a back up dancer for Santigold... I think I've got the booty for it.

Sails and Seamen

We caught the Colombian tall ship coming into the harbor today on our walk to work this morning.  It was so awesome to see the tug boats bringing the ship into dock.  Later, we had lunch on our studio terrace while the Blue Angels flew overhead practicing for this weekend's air show.  On our way home, we walked past the Columbian ship again and they were having a dance party on deck!  They were using the life boat as the bar area.  Clever Columbians.  So many cute sailors walking around Baltimore right now.  It's a sailabration!

Tupperwares and Leap Frogs

I had lunch by the water today to see if I could catch some of the tall ships pulling into the harbor.  When I was done eating, I put the empty tupperware down on the ground by my foot and then a big gust of wind blew it into the water.  It all happened so fast.  I remember the tupperware blowing over and then I yelled out 'noooooo' and then it dropped into the water.  After, I felt kinda bad that my lunch container was floating around the harbor, so after a few minutes I went out to see where it went and that's when I saw it get picked up by the trash boat.  I felt better after that.
After work I speed-walked to Patterson Park to watch the Leap Frog Navy Seals fall out of the sky.
