Mt Vernon - Harbor East - NYC - Firemen - Hockey

Last Thursday, Cassie and I went to the First Thursday concert in the park.  Then we caught a ride from a crazy cab driver and got 3 for 1 beers at Wharf Rat while listening to the bartender tell ghost stories.
Friday, I sat by the water and waited for Derek to meet me after work then we went and grabbed sushi for dinner.  Nice way to end a stressful week.
Saturday morning we woke up early and caught the bus to NYC for Melanie's bachelorette party!! 12 girls with penises on their shirts drinking their way through the Lower East Side.  We had dinner at Beauty and Essex and then danced at Bob's until we got hungry again and decided to have a second dinner and a milkshake at a late-night diner.  FUN!  Derek and Jean had a man-date at the Yankees v Mets game while all the ladies went out.  D and I stayed at the Jane Hotel in a bunk bed room :) And I even got a cute dress on sale in SOHO.  Pretty good weekend overall.
Today, there was a huge fire in Fells Point, so obviously we had to go out of our way to walk by it on the way home.  Then we stopped at a new local market that opened call Fleet Street Market.  We got butternut squash pasta sauce to eat with our raviolis for dinner. Yummy.
And tonight I'm watching the Kings win the Stanley Cup! Go Kings!!

Wine and Crafts

We took Atarah to Boordy Vineyards [a local winery - about 30 mins from our house] to do a little wine tasting and see some crafts.  Although the 'hip factor' was extremely low, we had a good time in the sun sipping wine and eating yummy food.  Derek and Atarah were excited about their gourmet hot dogs stuffed into a french baguette with mustard and relish. We ended the night with a delicious dinner at Fork & Wrench and the usual crushers from the Oyster House.

Strawberry Lemonade

We spent half of this week in a SketchUp workshop learning how to model in 3D.  IT WAS AWESOME. Then we went to DC to meet up with Atarah and have drinks at the Dupont Circle Hotel.  Yay sister! On the train ride home we ran into Morgan on the train.  What are the odds?

Pitango gelato and drunk people watching - we might have seen a man in a speedo, a pirate hat and an eye patch playing the saxophone in the middle of the street

Spanish tapas dinner and sangria at Adelia's
Crush(ers) at the Oyster House
Rain storm dancing in the parking lot (and some dead fish)
Tiramisu at Vaccarros

Roof top pool day at Bank Street
