It rained this weekend. It usually doesn't rain so much around here, especially in May. It's not that often that it goes from a sunny 95 degrees down to a rainy, icy, thundery 50 degrees in less than a week. But it did.
We had friends visiting from Florida over the long weekend. A couple of them had never been to Los Angeles before. We had a really good time. We went to a comedy show, had dinner in Hollywood, went on a hike in Malibu, drank a lot, saw a boxing match, ate late-night French Toast, hung out with my family, drank a lot, woke up to mariachi music, drank German beer, ate German pretzels and wandered around the city.
