Someone knocked the head off of the Virgin Mary statue in front of the Saint Monica Church on Easter Sunday. The church is very pretty and is 2 blocks from our apartment. They still don't know who did it and the news is calling it a 'hate crime'. I just don't know how someone was able to break the head off of a marble statue without anyone noticing. They covered the top of the statue with a plastic bag.
