To celebrate Mom's birthday we all went to the Little Door for dinner. I made a cake shaped like a watermelon that didn't taste good. It was way too sweet and had too much food coloring. (But it's how you look on the outside that counts) I also convinced Martine to get her face sculpted with me so we could give it to our mother as a birthday gift. (Another genius idea.) This little old Asian man who sits on 3rd street did it. I think it's pretty amazing how accurate they are. Spot on! Then after dinner we went to El Carmen tequila bar and spoke Spanish. Yet another amazing birthday celebration.And today is Mel's birthday!! Happy Birthday Melanie! Woo hoo!
