Friday, I sat by the water and waited for Derek to meet me after work then we went and grabbed sushi for dinner. Nice way to end a stressful week.
Saturday morning we woke up early and caught the bus to NYC for Melanie's bachelorette party!! 12 girls with penises on their shirts drinking their way through the Lower East Side. We had dinner at Beauty and Essex and then danced at Bob's until we got hungry again and decided to have a second dinner and a milkshake at a late-night diner. FUN! Derek and Jean had a man-date at the Yankees v Mets game while all the ladies went out. D and I stayed at the Jane Hotel in a bunk bed room :) And I even got a cute dress on sale in SOHO. Pretty good weekend overall.
Today, there was a huge fire in Fells Point, so obviously we had to go out of our way to walk by it on the way home. Then we stopped at a new local market that opened call Fleet Street Market. We got butternut squash pasta sauce to eat with our raviolis for dinner. Yummy.
And tonight I'm watching the Kings win the Stanley Cup! Go Kings!!
